How to reach Harare by air
A number of regional carriers and some longer-haul routes serve Harare, largely via Gulf, East African and Southern African hubs. Johannesburg is the busiest feeder, with several short flights a day.

- The airport is about 15 km from the centre. Harare Sports Club is central, beside the State House gardens, so the transfer runs straight into town.
- Getting around
- Pre-arranged transfers and hotel pickups are the usual way in from the airport; ride-hailing operates in the city. Book transfers ahead, as options are more limited than in South Africa.
- Onward connections
- Harare connects to Bulawayo for Zimbabwe's second host city, and back to Johannesburg for the wider network. Room and flight capacity is tighter than in South Africa, so plan the Zimbabwe legs early.
